Beginning on May 9, 2010 Corey, Chris, and Tyler  will be embarking on a journey to change lives through our campaign, "Break the Cycle." During this campaign the three  will be riding from Long Beach, CA on our way to St. Augustine, Florida on bicycles. The purpose behind this trip is to raise funds in aiding a building of an orphanage in Medellin, Colombia. The title of the campaign is "Break the Cycle"; the purpose of the campaign is to break the cycle of child prostitution in the city of Medellin.

In December of 2009, Chris and Tyler witnessed firsthand the effects of prostitution on the children in what was considered to be the most dangerous city in the world in 2005. Currently, a local church has a day-camp for the children to stay at where they are given food as a refuge to prostitution. The problem lies when night falls on the city. When children, which range in ages from 3 to 12, are left on the streets with neither food, nor shelter they have nowhere to turn. 1 John 3:16-18 says "By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth." This passage, along with the time spent in Colombia has led them to believe that they are able to bring a solution to the problem.

The vision is to ride across the country on  bikes and speak in churches both locally prior to the trip, as well as in churches along the way in order to raise financial and prayer support to aid a branch of churches (Emanuel) in Medellin in purchasing and fixing up a piece of property to build and run an orphanage. This orphanage will give some kids in the city a chance to get off the streets and a hope in the future of a better life. Not only will they be given a roof over their heads, but they will also be given food, education, and a chance to break the cycle their lives have currently been subject to.
